Four pocket watches to include, Hamilton 18 Size full plate open face grade 940 21 jewel serial #985709, in a gold filled case by Monitor serial #3628365. I'd say currently keeping time but missing one hand so even though running not really telling you the time. With an approx. 12''l. gold watch chain with lovely open wire work links, unmarked but assays at 14k. Elgin size 18 open face lever set 17 jewel serial #6104339, in coin silver case, serial #504817599, currently keeping time. Elgin open face personalized ''John O. McKillop A Century of Progress 1933''. I'd tell you more about the works but I can't get the back off. And a Westclox Dax pocket watch. Sold with two tin? floral pins, heart shaped locket and a Marhill compact with painted enamel design to faux mother of pearl top. Sold as a lot. 150

425 Click for larger picture DELEVANTE, Sidney, (American, 20th C): Pair of surreal Gouache paintings, 8 3/4'' squared, 6 3/4'' x 5 3/4'', both pieces are signed, first one is titled ''They All Belong To The Evening Star'', the second is titled ''Everything Moves On Shifting Levels''. Delevante was born in Jamaica, exhibited at ACA Gallery, among others, and instructed at NYU and Columbia. These pieces are from an important Boca estate!
