Condition - Needs cleaning, several flecks of paint loss with scrape and dent in sky 1/8'', varnished over except for signature, sold as IS. 2450

She was a member of many important Florida art groups and was exhibited widely. 500

Condition- Inpaint, paint loss and paint flaking, as well as relining. This painting, typical of Deakin's work, needs TLC. 1100

Condition - Tack holes along the edges, paint fleck around the edges, several small tears, abrasion in lower left quadrant with paint loss, needs cleaning. 400
192 Click for larger picture REID, Mary Hiester, (Canadian/American, 1854-1921): Floral still life with roses, O/C, 22'' x 29'', signed lower left, encased in a period gilded cove molding, 29 1/4'' x 36 1/4'', frame does have some wear and missing gesso. Married to renowned Canadian artist George Agnew Reid, Mary was a very important painter in her own right. She was the daughter of Reading, Pennsylvania doctor John P. Heister. One of the first women accepted into the Ontario Society of Artists and the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, Reid was also very active in the Women's Rights movement of the time. Condition - Some minor craquelure throughout, needs minor cleaning, several minimal flecks of paint loss. 9000

Condition - Right off the wall, needs cleaning badly, some paint flaking in upper left corner and scattered portions throughout, 99.99 per cent of paint is still adhered, will need work to make perfect. 17000
