13 | NEOCLASSICAL NUDE BRONZE ''BEAUTE'': Measures 19''h., 24 1/2'' on dark red variegated marble plinth, no visible signature. She is missing a mirror perhaps from her right hand, patina appears to be applied later; this was intended originally to be a Dore gold patina but the previous owners altered it to what you see now, she has a wreath of roses in her hand which have been screwed in place, in my opinion in an incorrect spot; please see photos. Also, she has been affixed to a pivoting based which is off kilter, and there has been a handle attached to allow for easy movement to view the bronze from all angles. | 850 | |
