4 Click for larger picture DIAMOND, RUBY AND EMERALD BASKET PIN / ENHANCER: 14K yellow and white gold pin pendant in the form of a stylized basket with 38 round single cut diamonds, approx. .20 Ctw., averaging SI in clarity and I-J in color. Also 15 round mixed cut rubies as the flowers and 3 marquise shaped mixed cut emeralds as the leaves, approx .75 Ctw. The diamonds and gemstones are prong set. Bar pin and figure eight bail. 3/4'' length. 3.5 grams. 250

CONDITION: The shade is all good. The base does have wear to the finish.

From the Collection of Otto Koloman Wagner, renowned Austrian architect, descending through the family. The wooden base currently supporting the sculpture was designed by Wagner and will be sold following at lot 30A. The piece was displayed for many years at the Polk Museum. You may also view a picture of the piece on line shown in the Billiard Room of the Wagner Estate in Vienna Austria in 1895.
CONDITION: Recent repair to arm and hand, older repair to wing, several scattered scuffs, painted over later.
