Williams series ''Childhood of the Gods'' created under the auspices of Limited Editions of American Masterpieces Of Garden Sculpture, was exhibited at the New York World's Fair in 1939. Included with the sculpture is documentation from Limited Editions, 1940, outlining the purpose of the series, chaired by Mrs Theodore Roosevelt Jr. At the time this sculpture was sold, it was described as being one of the actual pieces exhibited at the World's Fair in 1939. From the collection of Banana George Blair.
CONDITION: Natural patina from being outside.
