CONDITION: Needs cleaning and revarnish.

176 Click for larger picture NEIMAN, Leroy, (American, 1927- ): ''Elephant Nocturne'', Serigraph, sight size 31 1/2'' x 41'', pencil signed lower right, numbered lower left 405/500, custom black frame with minor wear, 44 1/2'' x 54''.
CONDITION: The print has full margins, and is hinge mounted; the bad news, several small spots where the serigraph stuck to the plexiglass, and a crescent shaped spot less than 1/8''. All the ink that is not on the print is adhered to the plexi. It does have a faint brown tint in the area exposed to light, and there is some vertical cracking, but no separation.

CONDITION: Some craquelure, several flecks with paint loss in upper right corner and left mid margin.

CONDITION: Relined in 1941, some scattered inpaint, older repair to tiny tear, upper right quadrant, in need of further attention, could benefit from a cleaning.
