OLD INDO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 10'2'' x 12'1'': This pretty rug has a soft palette of white and blues that is accented by darker colors of wine red and cinnamon. The rounded palmettes are placed in a pattern where larger palmettes are down the center of the field and radiate out to smaller and smaller palmettes as you get to the edges of the field. All are connected by a network of vines, leaves, and small flower sprays. The rug looks larger than it is because the field and borders are all light colored. Condition is good. 700

The colors used are shades of blue, white, beige, brown, and grey. The midnight blue ground of the main border and the multiple guard borders complete the frame of the rug's field. CONDITION: Dings at base of scabbard prevent sword from completely hilting, scratches to blade.

CONDITION: Replacement rod, typical surface powder marks on lockplate and barrel at nipple, bend to patchbox cover.
