OLD INDO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUNNERS, 2'7'' X 8'9'' & X 13': These runners are actually one very long runner that was adapted to fit the needs of the owner. The deep blue field is covered with an overall repeating Herati pattern done in shades of blue, white, pale yellow, and peach. Each runner has an end that has been fringed but does not have the borders that normally would be there. However, your eye does not go right to it.
CONDITION: They could use a good cleaning but otherwise condition is good.

1245 Click for larger picture SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN BORCHALOU HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3'7'' x 5'4'': This rug has a nice curvilinear design with a white central medallion surrounded by a red medallion with spandrels at either end, all resting on a blue field that has white corners. The field and medallions are covered with flowers and leaves of various types in colors that include red, white, blue, green, peach, and pale yellow.
CONDITION: Good condition except the sides need to be redone in some areas.
