APPROX. 40-45 YR OLD PERSIAN ''KASHMAR'' KHORRASAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 9'10'' x 13'1'': This rug has a deep blue field with an intricate, interesting ''Persian Vase design''. The large central medallion's center has an ornate vase on a stand and from out it is a large palmette and sprays of flowers. A red, white, and green tracery design is edged by a wreath of smaller flower sprays. All around the central medallion are various other ornate floral vases on stands. The four corners of the field have paisleys that create a border as well as an inner design. The red main border and the pale blue and ivory guard complete this interesting rug. CONDITION: There is some shading and some slight stains that are barely visible in the blue field. |

Governor Edward Schoeneck Ca 1915-18. 5 bell shaped lights made of curled acanthus leaves, four of which suspend from Art Nouveau curled arms sheathed in wrapped acanthus and other embellishments. One light suspends from the center, the four connected by bands of embossed laurel bundled as fasces with rose clusters in the center. The top has a crown and a large oval wreath wrapped in ribbons. Each bell light has 12 smoke colored prisms (60 total). Fully functional. Rewired, polished and lacquered in the 1970s.
