CARL EICKHORN SHEATHED POLICE CUTLASS: Early 1900's Columbian police officer's leather sheathed cutlass with brass handle having Carl Eickhorn, Solingen impressed to one side near handle. The other side has an impressed rabbit over C.E. in a circle. One side of the blade has raised ''policia nacional'' flanked by a scrolling foliate design. Illegible impressed numbers located on brass band on sheath. Cutlass Approx. 26.75'' l x 4.5'' w. In sheath Approx. 28.5'' l. CONDITION: Blade does not sit all the way in the sheath due to age appropriate shrinkage to leather. |
