Satchel (pitcher)played in both Negro league, and Major league, and was sought after by every team owner. Hal Lanier was an outfielder and manager during his career. Signed in black ink and reads, ''FROM SATCHEL PAIGE TO HAL & JEAN LANIER MAY 15,1980''. On a Wilson A1010 ball with red stitched seam.
