155 Click for larger picture LOCHHEAD, John, (British, 1866-1921): ''Evening in the Village, O/C, 20'' x 24'', signed lower right ''John Lochhead, RBA'', exhibition label affixed verso dated 1912 from Alinger Studio, encased in an impressive period gilded carved gesso molding with overpaint, repair and missing gesso, in need of some touch-ups, 33'' x 37''. Condition - Craquelure in the sky with some areas of minor paint fleck, scattered craquelure throughout, small 1 1/4'' tear in the water, some paint loss in lower right corner, needs cleaning. Some evidence of inpaint, visible by blacklight. 950
