384 | WINSLOW, Earle Bartrom, (American, 1884-1969): Lot of 8 pieces of artwork to include Pencil, Pen and Ink Drawings, Water Colors and Sepia. (1)Pen and Ink torso study, sight size 14 21'' x 14'' framed, 29 1/2'' x 23'', signed lower left in pencil. Condition - Small tear in left corner, crease running through the middle. (2)Framed pair of portraits, both Pencil Drawings, one is self portrait of the artist and the other is portrait of the artist's father, Eben Norton Winslow, who was a master craftsman of furniture and woodworking, each portrait measures approximately 12'' x 8'', self portrait is monogrammed lower right and the portrait of the artist's father is signed lower right and dated '28, frame size is 18'' x 22 1/2''. Condition - Self portrait has a small tear in upper margin and visible creases in drawing paper, the father has some yellowing and minor stains. (3)Modernist water color landscape, 8'' x 10'', signed lower right. (4)Sepia painting of a woman falling out of a chair, 8 1/2'' x 6 3/4 signed lower left, frame size 15 1/2'' x 12 1/2''. Condition - Tape staining lower left and upper right corners, visible tear 3'' long running into the picture and into the face of the subject. (5)Water color of two women, 4 1/2'' x 6 1/2'', signed and monogrammed lower right. (6)Pen and Ink of a dairy barn, 6 1/2'' x 4 1/4'', signed lower right. Cyrus Afsary was born in the Middle East and eventually moved to the U.S. developing a different impressionist painting style. This painting may have been executed by him at an early point in his artistic career, while still residing in the Middle-East.
