SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN SAROUK HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3' 6'' x 5' 4'': This rug could be the textbook example of what a traditional Sarouk looks like. The colors are those that are used most often, the soft reds, blues, ivories, etc. That being said, it is a pretty rug with its sprays of flower heads radiating out from the center of the rug with vines that have smaller flowers on the ends. The field is filled with well drawn motifs that make for a pretty yet practical rug. Condition is good with some wear. | 150 |

The main design of the rug is a diamond shaped medallions that are bordered by a white outline to make them pop against the red field ground. There are also alternating half diamond designs at the sides of the field in darker colors for contrast. Condition is very good. | 200 |

PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4' 8'' x 7' 3'': This very pretty rug has a traditional medallion design in red orange and medium blue on a deep blue ground that is also covered with a radiating design of flower heads, leaves and palmettes attached by vines. The corners of the field have a red orange and ivory ground like that found in the main border. The overall effect is very pleasing. Condition is there is an area that has a stain near to one end that is on the edge of the field and into the border. It isn't real obvious without a very close examination.
