Sound board well marked with cast Steinway & Sons markings, numbers at end of board read ''5/29 C 1233 5'', no visible serial number on board. Overall measures 38'' x 61'' long x 55 3/4''. Sold with matching bench, 19'' h. x 32'' x 15 1/2'', and Damp-Chaser dehumidifier system. CONDITION: One 1'' deeper scratch right side of case, surface scratches to top. Consignor states there was some restoration performed, unknown when it occurred. |

Richly grained rosewood case with scalloped edge trim and panel borders, 2 brass articulated candle holders on front, brass handles on side, carved and turned front supports, all on castors. N. H. Klemmer began operation in 1836 and exhibited in the Paris Exposition of 1855. Overall measures 50'' h. x 52'' x 22 3/4''. CONDITION: Missing lower panel under keyboard, chips and scratches to case. As with all pianos will require tuning after moving, we cannot guarantee the condition of the sound board. |
