1001 | PAIR OF BUFFALO BILL CODY WORN BEADED GAUNTLETS: Pair of beaded leather gauntlets reputedly worn by Frederick ''Buffalo Bill'' Cody during his Wild West Show and given to Erma Orley who performed as a showgirl in the show. Each glove with cloth panel featuring a beaded figural bumblebee. Accompanying the gloves are 2 photos of the gloves with a notarized statement from Orley dated 1994. Also sold with the gloves are various ephemera items of Buffalo Bill. CONDITION: Obvious wear to gloves, some loss to black cloth. |
