Provenance: From the Florida salon waterfront vacation residence of German real estate moguls who built the collection at major Continental European auction houses in the 1970s and 1980s sparing no expense. This sold at Dorotheum May 4, 1999 for $7765 USD.
CONDITION: Needs a cleaning, some discoloring and minor spotting, some paint wear at edges, fiber board is a bit warped and has some wear and edge wear, frame displays some wear.

Koeniger moved to Woodstock, NY and focused his paintings on the Catskill Mountains and wooded areas around Woodstock. He became known as ''the Painter of Snow''. CONDITION: Some scattered staining, minor even overall toning, several of the artworks have pale or faint vertical creasing.
