WILL SIMMONS LOT: Most interesting lot of this exceptional printmaker includes various sizes of etchings, aquatints, engravings, a catalog of his etchings of birds and animals from the United States National Museum, and a manuscript written by Dorothy Pletcher that was submitted to Scribner's Magazine regarding Simmons and his wildlife etchings from 1929. The essay consists of 5,600+ words. All the prints are signed, most are in good to very good condition, with some tape and glue remnants, scattered foxing, and mild toning. If you have specific questions on a particular print's condition, please contact the Gallery. The largest print measures 20.5'' x 16'', smallest measures 3.5'' x 3.25'' with margins. All the prints are unframed. 250
