TURKISH HEREKE FINELY HAND KNOTTED ALL SILK RUG, 2'7'' X 4'1'': This beautiful Hereke rug comes from one of the most famous weaving centers in Turkey. The black ground of the center is covered with a design of flowers in shades of yellow, white, red and turquoise, bordered by the four white corners that each has a vase of flowers. The soft yellow and green borders with the final black edge complete the design. There is a signature cartouche at one end. CONDITION: Very good condition. |
