Unknown metal with painted beads and foil backed rhinestones, probably Swarovski as he was known to incorporate them in his work. He also was known for Russian gold plating on filigree. Marked Stanley Hagler, N.Y.C.. 2) Stanley Hagler Filigree and Glass Necklace, unknown metal with glass beads. The piece is marked Stanley Hagler, N.Y.C.. Hagler was known as the ''Picasso'' of jewelry. Hagler designed jewelry for the Duchess of Windsor (Wallis Simpson). Once assistant to Miriam Haskell, Hagler formed his own company in 1953.
