MODERN PERSIAN DESIGN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 8' 1'' x 10' 4'': This pretty pale room size rug has a soft golden yellow field that looks very different when you look at it from one end or the other. It looks much darker when you are looking into the pile rather than over it so this is something to consider when you are deciding how you want to place it in its new home. The golden field is covered with an overall design of flowers, leaves, and vines using soft blues, greens beiges and browns, a soft pink and a touch of deep cranberry here and there to make the design ''pop''. Having the main border colored with the deep cranberry ground and framing that with guard borders that are mainly soft green is the perfect frame for this rug. Condition is very good. MODERN SINO (CHINESE) PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 6' x 8' 11'': This good looking small room size rug has a deep autumnal palette. Its black ground field is covered with a small repeating pattern of vines that have small leaves and flower heads ''growing'' out in all directions. The colors used in this motif include greens, beiges yellow, white, and a reddish brown. The reddish brown is used as the ground color for the main border. It is also covered with the same design motif used in the field but the vines are interrupted with an occasional larger flower head or palmette. The guard borders mostly yellow palette complete the picture of this warm, good-looking rug. Condition is very good. | 550 |

The main border of the rug has a black background covered by a design of alternating leaves and palmettes or flower heads in the same colors as the field.
