510 | TWO 19TH CENTURY MINIATURE PORTRAIT PAINTINGS OF YOUNG MEN IN SUIT JACKETS VESTS AND TIES: 1) Oil/Canvas, mounted to Board, 5'' x 4 1/8'', monogrammed lower left M.L. and dated 1848, period ebonized wood frame, 7'' x 6 1/4''. 2) Oil/Canvas, mounted to Board, 5 1/2'' x 4'', no visible signature, gilded frame, 8'' x 6 1/2''. CONDITION: 1.The wood backing board has been split causing a crack running vertically in the canvas in the center of the image, needs cleaning. 2. The second piece has had some tears in the canvas that have been repaired, scattered inpaint, minor craquelure, needs cleaning. |
