This artist turned soccer player turned artist, created a future self-portrait - ''The Hawk'' - which has become a widely-recognized image. The original painting was created as a personal effort and mistakenly picked up by a delivery man and then sold, unknown to Luongo.

Exhibited at the St Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts, and through the museum, was loaned to the American embassy in Australia.
CONDITION: Canvas has been laid down on board, black light reveals several scattered touches of inpaint, needs cleaning, frame shows some wear with older repair and several pieces of missing gesso, sold as is.
