61A | MODERN INDO PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED MERCERIZED COTTON RUG, 6' 5'' X 9' 5'': Another very finely woven Persian design rug that has an ivory field whose central medallion is in an almost cruciform shape. The field itself has a more open feel because the flowers, leaves, and vines are not as densely placed next to each other. The main field also has a stepped inner border that creates more visual interest in the rug. The colors used in the rug are rust-red, peach, pale yellow, beige, and shades of blue. This medium size jewel of a rug could be used with many different decorating styles and in many different areas. Condition is very good. | 1300 | |

The field is covered with an intricate design of flowers, vines, and leaves using the same red, blues, light and dark, with a pale green and beige. The corners of the field are pale blue and the main border has a deeper blue background also covered with flowers, leaves, and vines. The edge of the rug has the same red found in the medallion and frames the rug beautifully. Condition is very good. | 700 | |
