The lock mechanism is in the central medallion, top and center. Marquetry inlay body, string inlay curved legs ending in paw feet. Measures approx. 38'' tall x 25'' square.
CONDITION: One glass panel replaced with Lexan.

Artist signed Mednat with French fabrication medallion. Base overall 11 1/2'' h. x 11'' x 8''. Shade 5'' h. x 5'' x 4'', 1 1/2'' rim.
CONDITION: Metal cover on underside of base has separated and hanging on by one side.

CONDITION: Does not appear to be running at this time, 2 cracks to metal at base of finial, loss of gilt finish.

CONDITION: Note external cracks on both.

5 Click for larger picture 1914 TWIN CYLINDER MODEL STEAM ENGINE: This unique steam engine appears to be modeled after the engine that ran the tramway and stamp mill in the silver boom town, now ghost town, of Rochester, Nevada. Double wheel and double fly valve, has one gear drive most likely to power the tram and one belt drive most likely to power the stamp mill. Cast iron base has plaque that reads ''Built by A. Amann, 1914, Rochester, N.V.''. Wheels turn and pistons move. Overall measures 14'' h. x 20 1/2'' x 18''.
CONDITION: We cannot guarantee full functionality and will most likely need restoration to run. Missing belt to run governor. We are not experts in these engine and other pieces may be missing we are not aware of. High resolution images available upon request.

CONDITION: Craquelure to dial, top of bonnet has been replaced with vellum, sand has come out of one weight, chip to veneer on bonnet. Other wear consistent with age and use. We are unable to ascertain full functionality of movement.

CONDITION: Wear consistent with age and use, recently fumigated for termites, replaced wood to one drawer, exhibits signs of prior termite infestation, especially underneath.

44 Click for larger picture SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN KERMAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 9' 2'' x 12': This lovely Persian Kerman has a field with an overall pattern of scalloped edged panels containing different flowering plants or trees in colors of red, pink, three shades of blue, and beige, on an ivory ground. The flowers are realistically drawn and the colors used give the rug a very soft, delicate appearance. The deep blue ground of the main border completes the picture. This type of Kerman continues to be a desirable rug.
CONDITION: Please note small spot of repair and spot in need of repair, otherwise condition is good.
