Painted with a scantily clad young woman, putti attendant, white doves and musical instruments in reserves against a cobalt ground enriched in gilding, after Francois Boucher. Marked on base with Sevres marks, Chateau Fountainbleau mark, and other mark. Measures 4 1/2'' h. x 8'' x 5 3/4''. 1000

The body is a fluted cabochon cut urn shaped London blue topaz. 11 Diamonds total approx. .12 Ct. The 10 round shaped and 5 marquise shaped sapphires total approx. 4.5 Ct. The sapphires are yellow, violet blue, green and purplish red. Stamped 750 and hallmarked with a W enclosed in a circle. Height 1.5''. Weight 11.3 grams. 1012 Click for larger picture 'SILLON LEDA'' BRASS CHAIR DESIGNED BY SALVADOR DALI: In the 1990s a group of experts, led by Oscar Tusquets, set themselves the task of turning the furniture Dali had drawn for Jean-Michel Frank into reality. Amongst these items were the Leda chair and low table, taken from the painting ''Femme … la tete rose'' (1935). The prototypes were made by the sculptor Joaquim Camps and B.D. Barcelona design organised the production and exclusive world marketing, manufactured and sold by Barcelona Design, this is numbered on the plaque under the seat 028.
CONDITION: Several smaller areas of lacquer wear causing green spots; obviously can be polished and resealed.
