207 Click for larger picture COE, Theodore Demerest, (American, 1866-): Impressionist Landscape, ''Spring'', O/C, 16'' x 20'', signed, from the collection of Sara Tennant, Trend House Gallery label verso, framed, 21'' x 25''. Widely regarded as being ahead of his time, Coe studied with Twachtman at the Art Students League, as well as abroad in Europe. After moving to Florida, Coe reportedly chose to concentrate on restoration, as his advanced style of artwork was not yet widely appreciated, therefore did not sell well. Relined by Nightwine, with minimal inpaint in upper corner/margin, sporadic cracklure and minor paint fleck. 1000

Dodd studied at the Art Students League, and exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, before settling the first quarter of the 20th C. in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dodd also designed 19 homes in the nearly famous Driftwood community of St Pete. There are several small punctures, and a small bit of paint fleck. 700

Sold with an exhibition catalog, a Palm Beach color exhibition pamphlet and a photo copied biography, over 30 pages of Hamilton's life and travel including many professional art affiliations.
