MODERN PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED SILK PRAYER RUG, 3' x 4' 6'': This finely crafted silk rug has a traditional ''Tree of Life'' motif that creates the Mihrab, or central part of the rug. Prayer rugs are asymmetrical in design most of the time. This rug's tree is drawn on a white field with rose, blue and green flowers and leaves. Also there are pairs of birds found facing each other throughout the field. The field has greenish gold corners at the top and the borders of the same blues, rose, and greenish gold complete the picture. Condition is excellent. | 1000 |

MODERN ORIENTAL HAND KNOTTED WOOL PILE RUG, 10' 1'' x 14' 6'': This rug has a design like a Bergama rug from Turkey but a weave of a Persian rug. There are three central octagonal shaped medallions that have smaller medallions within and latch hooks on the edges. The medallions are in colors of pale rust orange and pale blue on an ivory field with a lot of birds and animals over the entire field. The main border of the rug has a design of stylized peacocks. This border has two guard borders on each side. CONDITION: The colors are somewhat faded and there is some moth damage. |

SEMI-ANTIQUE TEKKE TURKOMAN HAND KNOTTED ALL WOOL RUG, 3' 2'' x 3' 6'': This rug has a traditional design of rows of guls, called by some an elephant foot because that is what it resembles, with alternating cross like motifs. The colors are also traditional to this type of rug, the shades of reds and some blue or blue black, but it is less common for the field to be ivory. Also, the squarish shape of the rug makes it stand out. This type of rug also has aprons at either end of the rug (extra borders that aren't on the sides). Condition is good. | 200 |
