PERGOLA, Linnea, (American, 1953-): 3 Piece Serigraph Lot to Include: 1) Drive-in Movie Scene, sight size 33'' x 37'' framed, 47''x 51.5''; 2) New York City Scene at Night; 3) View of Antonio Gaudi's Casa Mila Apartments in Barcelona. All pieces are signed and numbered bearing a Martin Lawrence Gallery blind stamp lower left. Unframed pieces with margins 38'' x 48''. Pergola was born and raised in Los Angeles and received her degree from California St. University at Northridge in History. She traveled extensively through Europe, Russia, Scandinavia and with the Peace Corps in the Philippines. She tries to convey her experiences through her art. Her work is very colorful and often times whimsical. Linnea has had many highly successful art shows throughout the United States and Switzerland. CONDITION: Framed piece appears to be in excellent condition except for small tear in very margin upper right hand corner - not in the image. Other 2 pieces have visible handling creases, soiling in the margin, possible water damage, several minor tears in margin, sold as is. |
