RARE 1861 FLORIDA CONFEDERATE REGISTER OF VESSELS: An exceedingly rare document from the Confederate State of America, issued shortly after the Civil War began. While we have seen a few other examples from other states, we have never seen a Florida example before. This document registers the Jefe? Richards, a 2 mast ship, owned by 3 partners in Apalachicola, Florida as a Confederate Citizen owned vessel, dated September 17, 1861. Sight size 17 1/2'' x 15'', framed and matted 22 1/2'' x 20 1/4''. CONDITION: Toning, visible fold lines, not examined out of frame. |

''Born in London to a family of painters, Stanley Hayter chose instead to study geology and chemistry and then worked for a Persian Gulf oil company.
