HANDSOME BOEHM 2 PC KESTRELS 492: Pair of porcelain Kestrels atop a tree stump with flowered falcon hood resting beside tree and the bird is attached to tree with leather strap. The other bird is wearing the flowered falcon hood and tethered to the tree. Both marked to underside with maker's mark and title of piece. Falcon without hood approximately 13.875'' tall, 6.875'' wide, 6'' deep. Falcon with hood approximately 16.5'' tall, 7'' wide, 5.5'' deep. Original purchase price was $2040. CONDITION: Flower on hooded Kestrel has been nicely reattached. Missing end of tail feather on the other Kestrel. |
