CHINESE AUBUSSON CARPET, 9' x 12': This carpet is an interesting mixture of an Aubusson design combined with an Art Deco Chinese design. There is a central medallion that has a squared central panel with peacocks and flowers surrounded by sprays of turquoise blue flowers and peach colored flowers on an ivory field. The border of bluish green with sprays of flowers has white panels and matching corners with birds on flowering bamboo. There is a deep blue edge to the entire rug. The four corners of the rug have realistically drawn flowers that look like they are growing out of the ground. Condition is excellent. | 550 |
