1070 Click for larger picture RICHLY CARVED IVORY MUSIC BOX: The outside ivory cover inset with an extraordinarily fine deep carved oval cabochon of floral and leaf motif. Cover exterior and box bottom with carved ivory bands of grape and vines motifs also carved in unusually deep relief. The interior of the hinged lid reveals an inset carved ivory panel depicting a young girl with her setter dog in a detailed, densely wooded forest scene surround. The Box being raised on four ormolu paw feet and surmounted with what appears to be an unsigned vermeil (gold over sterling) framework. Sold with key. 2 1/2'' x 4 1/2'' x 3''.
CONDITION: Framework trim is missing on one side of top. One screw missing to side.

1082B Click for larger picture HAND MADE PERSIAN ORIENTAL RUNNER, 2'6'' x 8': This is a finely knotted rug, looks like a synthetic silk with very fine pattern of realistically drawn flowers, one center medallion and two half medallions with two vases that are on either end of two of the medallions. It is asymmetrical in direction and the flowers are different types of real flowers on a pastel or whitish green field. There is a deep blue border and multiple guard borders to finish out the rug.
CONDITION: This rug has a spot that looks like it was caused by someone dropping some bleach on it. This rug looks like it might improve with cleaning.

It is asymmetrical in direction and the flowers are different types of real flowers on a pastel or whitish green field and there is a deep blue border and multiple small guard borders to finish out the rug.
CONDITION: There is a stain at one end near the end of the field that looks like it might improve with cleaning.

This distinctively square, extremely fine knotted rug has a design featuring a circular medallion of turquoise, pinks, and ivories, radiating out from the center on a black field. The rest of the field is covered with sprays of flowers with four spandrels coming from the middle of each medallion radiating to the sides and ends of the rug. It has a beautiful pale green main border and several small guard borders. Again, an extremely fine and beautiful little jewel of a carpet. 450

The edging of the center of the field has a beautiful green and blue scalloped design with white corners that go into a turquoise edge.
