APPROX 20-40 YR OLD INDO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL MATCHING PICTORIAL RUGS, EACH 2' X 2'9'': A charming pair of rugs that have a whimsical depiction of the Garden of Eden, these rugs would be real conversation pieces in your home. The tip-off to Eden is the serpent entwined around the central fruit tree. The variety of trees represented on the rugs, the lone swan swimming on the pond, the birds flying in the blue sky above the hills and the tree laden valley all add to the interest of these pictorial gems. HASTINGS CARVED TIGER OAK 9 PIECE DINING ROOM SET: American 18/19th C. All the pieces have claw feet. The set includes a 54'' claw foot single pedestal round TABLE with five 9'' leaves that extend to 99''l. Set of 6 CHAIRS, one with arms. The bow front CHINA CABINET has serpentine glass sides, the single door has a curved front, overhanging top, original shelves with plate grooves, 66 1/2''h. x 60''w. x 20'' deep overall. The SIDEBOARD has a straight top with beveled mirror backsplash, 59''h. x 72''l, x 27'' deep. Excellent example of American oak furniture. The table bears a Hastings label however no signature found on either the china cabinet or sideboard although they came out of the same house and are every bit of Hastings quality. CONDITION: Wear consistent with age and everyday use. |

The red/rust field is outlined in the dark blue and has yellow and white corners that tie in with the yellow and white guard borders and the dark blue main border.
