1101 Click for larger picture FINE BURL HERSCHEDES 9 TUBE TALL CASE CLOCK: Burl olive ash veneer grandfather / tall case, swan neck broken arch pediment with carved center, 2 carved finials, brass accents pieces all over. Body with canted corners, bombe swell base, all on bracket feet. Brass dial with silvered chapter ring, signed Herschede, Arabic numerals, applied brass spandrels. 9 tube time and strike movement with Westminster, Whittington, and Canterbury melodies. Overall measures 88'' h. x 25'' x 15''.
CONDITION: Strike movement currently not working. Does not gong.

Incised signature on back Paul Duboy, no other markings visible. Overall measures 19'' h. x 10'' x 6 1/2''.
CONDITION: Could use a proper cleaning.

1107 Click for larger picture 19th c BRONZE OF FORTUNA AFTER JEAN DE BOLOGNE: Scantily draped with a ribbon, this large bronze semi nude figure holds a coin filled cornucopia, and sits atop a bronze wheel, connecting to a cylindrical marble plinth, decorated with a shallow relief frieze of putti, approximately 35.5'' h.
CONDITION: Chips to marble plinth, sold as is.

1114 Click for larger picture APPROX 25-50 YR OLD INDO-TURKISH OUSHAK DESIGN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 8'1'' X 10'3'': This rug has the look of an Antique Oushak with its ivory field mostly soft colored larger sized floral motifs. Three large flowers are placed at each end of the field around a pair of simple smaller flower and leaf motifs that are in the center of the field. Leaves come out from the edge of the field in places all around the rug. Faint thin lines separate the field from the border.
CONDITION: There are some stains that aren't too noticeable and some visible wear but the overall appearance is good.

Waist with single beveled glass window, fluted 1/4 columns. Base with inlaid shell decoration, string inlay all over. Unmarked mixed metal dial with applied spandrels, second hand, chime/silent and double chime dials for 9 tube chimes. Overall measures 94'' h. x 21 3/4'' x 15 1/4''.
CONDITION: Tarnish to and wear to dial, second hand movement in need of repair, minor wear to case. Currently not running, pendulum crutch to regulate movement from pendulum has become unattached. No crank.

1131 Click for larger picture APPROX 20-45 YR OLD TURKISH CAUCASIAN DESIGN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4'11'' X 6'9'': This Turkish rug has a Caucasian Kazak design. The two diamond-shaped central medallions have giant ''I's'' as part of their design. An ''L'' shaped corner design is found not only in the corners but also on the center sides of the field so both medallions are flanked by them. The borders have three archaic Caucasian designs, the running dog, leaf and star, and leaf and flower motifs.
CONDITION: The rug shows some wear and fade but otherwise good.

Lithographs and screen print in color on Mylar and sailcloth with wooden light box incorporating a fluorescent light fixture, plexiglass bars, aluminum and a dual window shade system that layers the images to give a collage-like effect, 1985, artist stamped signature, title, edition number of 5 of 25 and Gemini G.E.L., Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA publishing atelier information on side plaque. 86 inches h. x 39 inches w. x 12 inches d. overall. Provenance: Palm Beach area collection, name withheld by request. 1134 Click for larger picture SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 9'X12': This interesting rug has an overall design of diamond shapes starting with the white central medallion, then a blue ground diamond then a red and orange (this diamond has color change from one end and even one side from another). At the outside are the white and green corners that keep up the diagonal diamond look. Within all the diamonds is a small repeating Herati variant pattern. A green inner border starts the frame of the field and the several blue, white, red/orange, and green borders complete the design.
CONDITION: There is some visible wear and shading.

Brass dial reads W. Greenwood, Leeds, & Huddlesfield, Arabic numerals, double gong strike. Overall measures 87'' h. x 19 3/4'' x 13 1/4''.
CONDITION: Minor scratches to dial, currently running however no guaranteed to continue or keep accurate time.
1145 Click for larger picture MOORE, Henry (British, 1898-1986): Untitled Standing Figures, color lithograph on paper, 14.75 h. x 18.25 inches w. plate dimension, 15.75 h. x 19.75 w. inches visible sheet dimension, 24.75 x 28.25 x 0.75 inches framed, signed and dated 49 in pencil in lower right margin, numbered 45/75 in pencil in lower left margin, inscription notes within image are part of the printed plate.
CONDITION: Generally very sound and attractive estate discovery condition with no creases or tears observed. Print was previously matted closer to the image and there is a moderate browned toned line at previous mat edge site to all sides. Not known how currently or previously mounted. Not examined out of frame, yet.

Sloane Art Center label verso identifying work as an original graphic by Mark (sic) Chagall. Period carved wooden frame, glass appears to be non-glare.
CONDITION: Estate discovery condition, image good, no creases or tears observed, water stain lower outside sheet edge, browning, upper outside sheet edge, paper evenly mellowed in hue over the decades. Not examined out of frame. Frame handsome with some scattered wear and separations, etc.
