1238 Click for larger picture APPROX 20-40 YR OLD AFGHAN BOKHARA HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 5'11'' X 9'1'': The ivory colored field is covered with large ''guls'' in the style of old Afghans. The octagonal shaped guls have four panels with matching colors diagonally opposite each other. Small diamond shaped guls are placed in between the rows of larger guls. Darker borders edge the field and wide aprons or extra borders are at each end.
CONDITION: There is some soil and wear.

1249   APPROX 20-40 YR OLD PAKISTANI BOKHARA HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4'2'' X 6'4'': This Bokhara has a little bit different format than the typical examples. The red field has a row of central medallions with lines from them out to the sides to matching half medallions. In the open red panels between are guls done in the same colors, pale gold, black, and white, that are in the medallions. Multiple guard borders complete the rug.
CONDITION: This rug is in good condition.
