Condition - Several pinpoints specks of lighter coloring, slight warp in board due to missing back support panel. Point of interest-Drysdale painted in a unique style using diluted oil paints, applying them with a cotton ball or soft brushes. 5000

Condition - Several minor spots of foxing. Senat studied at Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and South Kensington School in London. He spent several years in Europe as well as painting on the coast of Maine. Primarily associated with the East Coast, he was a resident of Pasadena from 1905 to 1910. 70A Click for larger picture KERKAM, Earl, (American, 1890-1965): ''Nude'', Ink Drawing, 16 1/2'' x 11 1/4'', Donald Morris Gallery Detroit Mich label affixed verso with title. Earl Kerkham studied at the Rand School, the Art Student's League and the School of Design. He designed for the Stanley Company and Warner Brothers and was art editor of Progress. In 1924 he went to Paris and studied at the Academies de la Grand Chaumiere and Academy Colorisie. He was in charge of the exhibits at the American Art Gallery in Paris. His work was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, the Corcoran Art Gallery, Art Institute of Chicago and the Mellon Galleries. His clients included the Herald Tribune, the Brooklyn Eagle and the Red Stallion Press. Credit: Dr. Leslie Project. 300

Condition - Eraser size portion of paint loss in lower left corner, sporadic pin point spots of paint loss throughout, unsettling of paint in lower to mid right margin, sporadic unusual fluorescence - not believed to be in-paint but rather a different pigment, signature reinforced.Elwood studied with Barton Hays, member of the Richmond Art Assoc., Hoosier Salon, exhibited at the Art Inst. of Chicago, Herron, among many others. This scene is amongst his specialties. He was a significant figure in the Indiana art world of the late 1800's. Not only a painter but an instructor. (Falk) 1700

90 Click for larger picture BOURAINE, Marcel, (French, 1886-1948): Nude with 2 Antelope, Bronze, 20 1/4''h, signed on base, LN and JL Paris foundry mark. Condition- wear to patina, several scuffs, visible joint in right arm. Marcel-Andre Bouraine was born in Pontoise (Seine-et Oise), He studied under Jean-Alexndre-Joseph Falguiere (1881 - 1900), who had reintroduced and emphasized realism in nineteenth-century sculpture. Bouraine was captured in Germany during the First World War, and interned in Switzerland. In 1922, he exhibited at the Salon des Tuileries. The following year he began to exhibit at the Salon d'Autommne. He executed small-scale sculptures for several French firms, including Susse Freer, La Verrier, and Arthur Goldscheider, often exhibiting with the latter's La Stele and L'Evolution groups. In 1928 Gabriell Argy-rousseau (1885- 1953) commissioned a number of figurines from Bouraine, mostly female nudes, but also a fountain and an illuminated group, all of which were executed in colored, translucent pate de verre. 3750

Condition - Relined, restretched on a 19th C frame, screened with varnish which makes repairs difficult to detect with a black light, but there has been some restorative inpaint throughout, piece was originally designed to fit in an oval frame. 5000
