Rosofsky received a B.F.A. and M.F.A. from the Chicago Art institute. His paintings present the cultural, social and artistic happenings of the latter half of the 20th century from his perspective. He managed to present his personal views and struggles in a way that others can relate to employing naturalism and surrealism in his work.
