Born in Erie, PA and now living in Sarasota, Florida, Rust is known for his seascapes, wild life, nudes and pinups. His work is part of prestigious collections, including the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, the Ringling Museum of the Circus, and the Norman Rockwell Museum. Rust has also done extensive work in illustrating books such as Reader's Digest and Wildlife Art. 200

Overall measures 59'' x 42''.
CONDITION: Not examined out of frame. Frame has been overpainted with gold paint, several visible cracks, small bit of missing gesso in lower portion of frame, sold as is.

1340 Click for larger picture KASIMIR, Luigi, (American, 1881-1962): ''Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork'' (formerly Mareinburg), Etching and Aquatint, sight size 18'' x 23.75'', estate signed in lower margin, original frame 28'' x33.5''. The castle is a classic example of a medieval fortress and, on its completion in 1406, was the world's largest brick castle. UNESCO designated the ''Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork'' and the Malbork Castle Museum a World Heritage Site in December 1997.
CONDITION: Visible toning, several spots of foxing, not examined out of frame, sold as is.
