1087A Click for larger picture NEIMAN, Leroy, (American, 1920-2012): ''Young Tiger'', Serigraph, sight size 14'' x 28'', pencil signed lower right, numbered 10/300 lower left, Styria Wine Stamp in lower left corner, framed, 23.5'' x 37.5''. Nieman's brilliantly colored, impressionistic sketches of sporting events has made him one of the most popular artists in the United States. His body of work is rooted in fine art. He became friends with Hugh Hefner of PlayBoy fame and his art appeared in that magazine many times.
CONDITION: Not examined out of frame, visible discoloration along inked edges, typical of his prints from this period, sold as is.

(Agerup 210) Zao, combines Oriental landscape abstraction with French influence.
CONDITION: Full margins, hinge mounted to card backing, gummy glue residue from mat bled over to the print, but looks to be removable, sold as is.

CONDITION: Several very pale spots, overall very good, not laid down.

1098 Click for larger picture KASIMIR, Luigi, (Austria/Slovenia, 1881-1962): ''Giant Redwoods'', 3 Figures in a Redwood Forest, Etching / Aquatint, 13.75'' x 10.25'', 18.5'' x 14.25 with full margins, pencil signed lower margin, framed, 20'' x 16.5''. Kasimir was a pioneer in the colored etching technique starting with a sketch with a sketch, usually in pastel. Next he transferred the design on as many as four to six plates which he printed one after the other and applied the color on the plates.
CONDITION: Minor discoloration in margins, small water stain in lower right margin, sold as is.
