MATLOCK, Louise, (American, 20th C.-): Large Full figure of a man leaning on a pole, Aluminum sculpture, Rockledge Studio label. Overall 8'h., base measures 23'' x 51'' to edges of feet. Please note the back of figure extends beyond base by approx. 6''. Matlock's earlier career involved experimenting with various forms of creative arts, mainly oils, interior design and decorating. After traveling from Ohio to Manhattan to the Virgin Islands, she settled in Melbourne, Florida where she was introduced to and fell in love with sculpting. Her association with Rockledge Design Studios has changed her perception of art.
