1305 Click for larger picture BOUTON, Marcia Bennett, (American, 1919-2014): Young Seated Beauty in Black Dress, Pastel, 26.5'' x 20.5'', signed lower right M Bouton PSA (Pastel Society of America), framed, 34.5'' x 28.5''. Bouton was a student of Dartmouth College as well as the Silvermine Art Center. She was a well-educated painter who became a member of a number of professional art organizations. She has exhibited in The Ivory Gallery in CT., The Uptown Gallery and The Riverfront Gallery, both in Florida.
CONDITION: Frame shows minor wear, not examined out of frame, sold as is.

Sowinski's talent for painting was evident in high school. He continued painting and studying art even as he served in WWII and the Korean War, and continued to serve for 22 years. 1344 Click for larger picture NISHI, Ken, (American, 1916-2001): ''Laugh, Clown'' (Agony of a Clown), Oil/Canvas, 48'' x 28'', signed lower right and dated 1990, silver gilded frame, 57.5'' x 37''. Nishi attended Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles and subsequently assisted Millard Sheets in his 20' x 25' mural for Treasure Island. His works are held by the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, National Museum of Mexico City and the Springfield (MO) Museum.

1349 Click for larger picture CLARK, Roland, (American, 1874-1957): ''The Rendezvous'', Hand colored Lithograph of Ducks, sight size, 17.5'' x 20.5'', ebonized frame with gilt accent, 25.75'' x 28''. Clark's paintings have garnered international acclaim and he was asked to create the Federal Duck Stamp design. He is also a writer and his book ''Stray Shots'' with etchings has become one of the most valued sporting books of all time.
CONDITION: Not examined out of frame, visible toning and discoloration, several spots of foxing, some moisture damage in lower left corner, mat has foxing, frame shows wear, sold as is.
