1270 Click for larger picture NICHOLS, Roy, (American, 1928-1990): Florida Cabin, Oil/Canvas, 16'' x 20'', signed lower right and dated '67, framed, 23'' x 27''. Nichols was the descendant of two generations of career Army officers. He attended West Point and served 2 years in the Army Airborne before enrolling in the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, FL and immersing himself in painting. His paintings hang in many private and corporate collections in SW Florida and across the country. 325

Vincent was an artist who was known for his marine painting. He was a graduate of the New England School of Art and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. He was a member of the American Society of Marine Artist and the Rockport Art Association.
CONDITION: Mat needs replacing, minor mat burn along the margin edges, not examined out of frame, frame shows minor wear, sold as is.

Sawicki made his presence known at Chicago's Campanile, Monroe and Steiner Art Galleries as well as the Annual Gold Coast Art Fair. He is considered a romantic impressionist.
CONDITION: Apparent abrasion extending through middle of picture, not examined out of frame, sold as is.
