1244 | SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 9'8'' x 12'10'': This Persian city rug has a traditional curvilinear design consisting of a medallion within a medallion resting on a field that is completely covered with flowers, leaves, and vines. The medallions and the corners of the field are likewise covered with flowering motifs. All are done in colors of reds, pink, midnight and medium blue, ivory, beige, and pale yellow. These same colors are carried out to the borders. This is a good example of colors and design combined to make an attractive rug. CONDITION: There is some visible wear but condition is mostly good. |
