Known for his street scenes of various Polish cities, Stanislaw attended the School of Art Decoration and Art Paintings as well as the Academy of Art in Warsaw to study his craft. Many of his works are displayed in prominent venues around Europe, including Museum of History in Warsaw and the Ministers of Board Council, just to name a few. 300

Mulready was quite known for his almost literal interpretations of everyday life, which differed from the quite emotional works of the era. A member of the Royal Academy, his exhibited works were shown from 1863-1880. 1000

1096 Click for larger picture MARCHIORI, Carlo, (Italian, 20th Century ): Hand painted shaped tri-fold screen or wall hanging, decorated with provincial maiden holding a jug of water and basket of chickens on a pole, dog running along side. Signed Carlo Marchiori and dated 1992, center panel 51 1/2'' h. x 16''. Italian born, Carlo Marchiori studied classic art and academic design in Padua and Venice. At the age of eighteen, he left Italy to live in Canada where he worked as illustrator and film animator for C.B.C. Television and the National Film Board of Canada. In 1967 he was nominated for an Academy Award for an animated short but eventually abandoned filmmaking and advertising for mural paintings.

CONDITION: Shade is wired and bolted in place to the sockets, doesn't seem to be easily removable. Chips to corner of rock and to her toes.
