1203 Click for larger picture COLLECTION OF SOUTHERN ASSOCIATION SIGNED BASEBALLS: 12 baseballs total, some team signed and some individually signed by members of various minor league teams from the Southern Association to include the Atlanta Crackers, New Orleans Pelicans and more, circa 1950's. Nicely displayed in Lexan case, overall measures 9 3/4'' h. x 13'' x 10 1/2''. Comes with the book ''The Crackers'' by Tim Darnell, and a letter from the Southern League offices.
CONDITION: Condition of balls varies.

1203A Click for larger picture 1888 JOCKO FLYNN BASEBALL TINTYPE PHOTO: Approx. 3/4 plate, overall 7'' x 5'', photograph of Jocko Flynn, pitcher for the Omaha Omahogs, later to pitch for the Chicago White Stockings for a single season, his 23 wins is the most ever by a pitcher who pitched in only one season in the major leagues. We have not seen this pose before.
CONDITION: Some cracks to image, flake lower left corner.

1204 Click for larger picture 1929-1931 PHILADELPHIA ATHLETICS TEAM SIGNED ELEPHANT: A most unusual ceramic elephant signed by 23 members of the championship 1929-1931 seasons to include Connie Mack. Jimmie Foxx, Lefty Grove, Eddie Collins, Al Simmons, Mickey Cochrane, Waite Hoyt, Eddie Rommel, Roger Cramer, Jim Moore, Rube Walberg, Roy Mahaffey, Mule Haas, Bing Miller, Eric McNair, Phil Todt, John Heving (twice), George Earnshaw, Hank McDonald, Joe Palmisano, Jim Peterson and Lew Krausse. The elephant also has a blurred stamping reading ''World Champion A's, 1929-1930''. Connie Mack adopted the white elephant as the mascot for the Athletics in 1901 when John McGraw of the New York Giants told a reporter that the owner Benjamin Shibe had a ''white elephant on his hands''. This exact elephant was auctioned by Sothebys with SBC Auctions Lot 103, December 10, 2005. Unfortunately the LOA form JSA and PSA/DNA that accompanied this sale has been lost. Overall measures 12 1/4'' h. x 12'' x 5''.
CONDITION: Several minor glaze flaws.

Restaurant contents came up for auction in 2003 when the nautical themed restaurant closed and became a Brown Derby. Overall measures 28'' h. x 28'' x 11 1/2''. 250
1206 Click for larger picture COLT MODEL 1851 NAVY REVOLVER: Third model, 6 shot cylinder, .36 caliber 7 1/2'' octagonal barrel. Frame with all matching serial numbers 73420, cylinder 73070, replaced wedge and hammer. Traces of Colt's Patent and US on left side of frame, New York address on top of barrel. Original grips, brass trigger guard and backstrap, action currently works fine. Overall measures 13 1/4''.

Using the unusual technique of pouring acrylic paint in layers and sanding in between, Weiner has made a name for herself in the transcendental abstract art world. With a Masters of Fine Arts from Claremont Graduate University, she went on to receive a Distinctive Merit Award from the San Diego Museum of Art,
CONDITION: Frame has wear and needs touching up, painting could use cleaning.

1240A Click for larger picture APPROX. 75-100 YR OLD PERSIAN KERMAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 7'7'' x 11': This very nice old Kerman has the desirable overall cover to its field and contains some less common colors for a rug of its age. The pretty raspberry red field has a center medallion that starts with a pink center surrounded by an unusual green, edged by a raspberry red and ivory, and finally a deep blue, cranberry and ivory outer border. Around the medallion is a ribbon like vine that has various flowers and leaves circling the medallion and then spreading out to cover the rest of the field. From the ivory ground main border a broken border design with blue, red, and white shield like motifs goes through the green guard border into the main field.
CONDITION: The pile is pretty uniformly low and there are some visible stains in the ivory main border.

1249 Click for larger picture APPROX. 15-25 YR OLD PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3'9'' x 5'1'': On the white field of this rug are three hexagonal medallions in a row down the center. They are done in colors of blue, browns, green, and dusky peach. The medallions are edged with a ram's horn scalloping and the other small medallions in the field follow suit. Condition is good. 100
