The four corners have flowers done in the pastel colors found in the medallion and the sprays. A wide ivory border is edged in the deep blue of the field to complete the design of this rug. Here and there a pink flower peeks through. The leaves are in colors of soft greens, blues, and a hint of pale yellow and beige. The narrow border is mostly pinks, ivory, and beige with a little green. The back of the rug has been latexed to hold the hooked pattern in place and this is the usual finish for this type of rug.
