Rizzi's signature style is creating 3D panorama's of diverse urban life.

1466 Click for larger picture KATZ, Alex, (American, 1927-): Michigan Opera Theatre 76-77, Lithograph, 30'' X 22'', pencil signed lower left and dated '77, Styria Studio Blind Stamp lower right, unframed. Katz and his contemporaries, Al Held and Philip Pearlstein, influenced the popularity of New Realism in the 1970s. He subsidized himself by hand carving frames and designing stage sets and costumes for the Paul Taylor Dance Company. His wife has been his model since they married in 1968. 175

Friedlaender was a pioneer of the technically difficult aquatint etching process. From his atelier in Paris he instructed other artists who went on to become noteworthy and became experts in lithographic and etchings art, including Piza, Coudrain, Carcan and Boulanger.

CONDITION: Condition on nude - several handling creases, several minor tears in the left and right margins, pale staining in upper margin. Some scattered spots of foxing in the cat, several blemishes of dirt, several very minor spots of foxing, tape glue remnants in lower corners and upper margin, sold as is.
