Electric movement, dial with etched glass Arabic numerals. Illuminated metal base with floral decoration, 4 ball feet. Overall measures 15 1/8'' h. x 13 5/8'' x 5 1/2''. As seen on page 78 in ''Lalique Glass The Complete Illustrated Catalog for 1932''.
CONDITION: Internal flecks to glass, exterior fleabites at screws on front. Base with wear to decoration, currently not running.

1004 Click for larger picture RARE 1865-A SILVER 20 FRANC TRIAL COIN: From the original 1992 Bowers and Merena auction catalog: George F. Champney, Boston Engineer, trial piece in silver of a French gold 20 francs, 1865A. Uncirculated, with traces of old golden brown toning on both sides. The obverse and reverse are from the same dies that appear on a genuine gold 20-franc piece struck from official Paris mint dies. The edge is inscribed with raised letters and stars CHAMPNEY **** BOSTON ****, from a three part collar. Ungraded, in original Bowers and Merena bag, sold with accompanying paperwork.
CONDITION: We do not grade coins, please look at photographs to determine grade, high resolution images available upon request.

1009 Click for larger picture 1821 NEW YORK MANUMISSION CERTIFICATE: From the original 2000 Early American History Auctions catalog: ''June 11th, 1821, Manumission (or the freeing of a slave) was documented by presenting a certificate, such as this, and recording it in a official records. In this instance, the slave freed was a female negro named Maria, the property of Stephen Parkinson, who (according to the document) was under the age of 45 and abel to provide for herself. Signed by both Stephen Allen, the Mayor of New York and Richard Riker, this document was also ''Recorded in the Office of the Register in and for the City and County of New York in Lib 2 of the Manumission of Blacks...''''. 10'' x 7 3/4''.
CONDITION: Toning and spotting.

Selkirk & Sons auction catalog: ''A semi-antique Japanese red wood tall chest, finely carved with representation of tree peony, chrysanthemum, birds and prunes, the top surmounted by a high three-quarter gallery over a cupboard door and two three-quarter drawers, two short drawer and 3 long drawers flanked by applied carved dragons forms on the canted corners, based on a conforming plinth with bracket feet, the sides with similarly carved floral panels, one of which is signed one a inlaid plaque, measures 58'' h. x 44'' x 23''. In the background can be seen a horse drawn carriage, foliage, and in the distance, a hillside with the outline of horses. Image measures 6 3/4'' x 8 1/4'', matted and framed 15 1/2'' x 16 3/4''. Rembrandt's name is etched along bottom right corner: ''Rembrandt/1641'', on laid paper, probably a Basan edition.
CONDITION: Visible foxing, trimmed margins, some light surface abrasions or insect damage with minor surface paper loss, hinged with tape at top margins, sold as is.

CONDITION: Small tear in the upper left margin, bottom left margin has large crease, lower right smaller crease, upper left corner crease, tape glue remnants in upper and lower margins, older tape still affixed lower left verso, sold as is.
