APPROX. 20-35 YR. OLD SINO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 9'2'' x 12'3'': This beautiful rug has eight pointed stars and other geometric shapes, each with different colored backgrounds and different motifs within. Some are heavily outlined and others barely so but all coming together to form a large radiating star pattern. The ''patchwork'' effect, caused by the different colored grounds, is just one interesting feature of the rug. Within the various parts are found renditions of buildings that must have been copied from real life places and there are different types of birds and flowering plants too.
